Underdog skinny winner Chin Seng outchomps heavyweight favourite Zack!
It was an epic showdown with 33 finalists and with the intense media spotlight, nerves were high. The all time favourite Zack was there and with all the attention from the other contestants, public and media, he was obviously feeling the heat.
33 Massive burgers were served sizzling hot fresh from the grill and a regulation standard bottle of water given to each contestant. (some wanted to bring their own glass for dipping but we wanted a level playing field). You see how serious this gets…

Update: He’s been beaten by Zack (left – the one in black) in a whopping 1min 12 secs. Watch this to see Zack ‘vacuum’ the Massive Burger. There’s a lot of fans there and shouting instructions “chew, swallow, swallow water, water”. Ahhh.

We’ve had a tremendous response to the Orange Roughy and we will probably run out of them by Sunday (or earlier judging from the response). Better grab a bite if you haven’t ‘cos it ain’t coming back soon.
You see, we’ve received feedback (yes, i read all the emails that come in and listen to feedback you give to my staff) that this deep sea fish has an unusually long maturation period to reproduce and as such, it’s not being replenished in time naturally in the wild and could be endangered. There needs to be another way better way to produce them to allow them to be sustainable.
So to do our part for the environment , we are not going to be putting them on the menu after this round until our supplier has found a sustainable way to produce these fishes. (They are checking right now). It is definitely one of the most succulent and unique tasting fish admittedly and we will monitor the situation with the supplier.
We will be having some other exciting high quality seafood items coming up. Just make sure to get on our member’s list (sign up on the right). I announce new specials to member’s first and regularly we have a member’s night tasting special. Don’t miss it!!
