Well, after slogging out the bad times and enjoying some of the good times for over 15 years, my time has finally come. Yes that’s right, on August 28th at 3:15, or there abouts. I will become a full fledged oath taken Singapore Citizen and Botak Jones will be a Singaporean company to its very core. It’s a huge step for me, maybe not such a big deal for you.
To try and make it a big deal for you though, and because I am in such a Nationalistic mood, we’re going to have a an ALL-U-CAN eat Bar-B-Que at out Toa Payoh Outlet on the 27th of August from 6:00pm until 10:00pm with a Singapore theme, even though we will be grilling up Authentic American food.
So wear something RED and join us for a lot of eating, drinking and networking. Yeah, networking! We had one of these two months ago and so many people made great new contacts it was amazing and they didn’t need a computer, mobile or PDA to do it! It’s amazing the kind of people we attract.
This time all of our beers will be at 10% off the whole night for those partaking in the Barby. Soft drinks will be on the house!
Here’s what you need to do:
Just go to any Botak Jones outlet and make a reservation for the Toa Payoh Bar-B-Que. You’ll have to make a small deposit too!
Uh-huh, you see some people didn’t show up at the last one after they RSVP’d and, well, we had lots of food on hand and even turned people away. So this time I need a small commitment. The deposit? Just $10.00 per person. If you decide to opt out after paying the deposit, just let us know three days ahead of time and we’ll even give you your money back!
Oh! The Bar-B-Que, right, let’s see there’s steaks, chicken, grilled whole snapper, Maryland crab balls, spare ribs, pasta and WHOLE LAMBS, starters, side dishes and maybe a little more!
You get unlimited American Food at Singaporean heartland prices. “Where can find?” as my fellow Singaporeans would say.
If you ever wondered how you could try different Botak Jones American food in one sitting, this is the best deal ever.
I look forward to seeing you and hopefully you will be looking forward to seeing the new Singaporean me!
Remember the report in the Straits Times about how you can buy Alaskan king crab wholesale for only $80.00/kg from a seafood wholesaler. People were going gaga with how great the deal was and travelled long distances to grab them.
But why buy the whole crab when you’re only going to eat the legs?
Starting this Friday 14th, we are going to do one better.
We will be selling Alaskan King Crab for $80.00 per kg. That is the same price a seafood wholesaler is selling it to the public for but if you buy it from the wholesaler, you have to buy the whole crab, body and all. Frozen.
There isn’t much to eat in the body so essentially you are paying for crab that you don’t eat. And then you’ve got to clean and cook it.
We will be selling the long, sexy legs, where all the meat is. No muss, no fuss AND we will COOK it for you plus TWO SIDE dishes.
These are bigger and longer than the prawns you get at a certain hawker centre (N*w**n) and definitely won’t cost you an arm or a leg. Way tastier too. Guaranteed.
And whilst we got crabs, we are also doing our special Botak Maryland Style Crab Cakes that were so popular during Mother and Father’s day. So we hear ya and it’s now back!
Mahi Mahi
This delectable fish from the deep sea were so popular over the long weekend that we sold out end of Monday. Sorry for those who didn’t get it on Tuesday.
Good News!
Our ship just came in and we got new fresh Mahi Mahi jumping onto our grills. Better hurry before this one gets away again.
Kobe
I reserved some for the National Day long weekend and I think we might just have a few left. You gotta call in or email zee@botakjones.com to reserve one of these super premium melt-in-your-mouth steaks a day before. We’ve got many of you coming for seconds and thirds!
We’re sticking to the $50 bargain of a lifetime deal, so grab it whilst you can.
So there you have it, we’ve got you covered for a great gastronomic weekend from succulent deep sea Mahi Mahi fish, Alaskan King Crabs to Kobe Beef.
This is our promise
“Damn Good Food at A Damn Good Price”
