Lamb Shanks!

A little gossip fodder for you (or your friends) who’s been asking us about  Botak Halal portions. Great news…!

We are almost done with the work needed on our upper Central Kitchen to have it certified halal. Then it’s over to MUIS and submissions on the food recipes. Once MUIS approves a name we will start having some halal outlets as well as a halal catering division. I’m hoping we can wrap this up in the next four weeks or so, but I’ve been saying that for almost half a year! Please stay tuned.

The Lamb Shanks continue to receive rave reviews. Just check out our Facebook Fan Page to see some of the comments. Lamb Shanks are still available at all our outlets at our promotion price of $15.90.

Oh yeah, USA Kobe Ribeyes are still available with a one day (24 hour) notice.

We wish all of you a safe and happy Hari Raya Adilfitri from all of us at Botak Jones.

Akan datang: Here’s a video message from me and the Married Men on 91.3fm (we just aired the show last night and recorded it on the fly)

Just how tender is a Tenderloin? Well, each Tenderloin steak has to be carefully tied with string so it doesn’t fall apart when we cook it!

Singapore Slingers…Tuesday Night at Botak Jones Toa Payoh

Singapore Slingers…..Tuesday Night at Botak Jones

In case you are wondering, No ,we are not serving Singapore Slings at Toa Payoh.

The Singapore Slingers are our home grown Professional Indoor Basketball team that we’ve decided to support. We love basketball here at Botak Jones and what better way than to support our homegrown pro team that is going regional.

For the past two seasons , the team has played in the Australian NBL.

The 2008/09 season commencing in September, will see the Slingers hosting teams throughout the region in the ‘Singapore Challenge Series’.  Teams from the Philippines, China, Indonesia, India and Australia will be coming to Singapore to play the Slingers in a series of International games.  The Challenge series is an interim competition that will lead to the team playing in an ASEAN professional League.  Slingers Chairman Tony Fernandes is leading the charge for the introduction of the league which will benefit the sport of basketball throughout the ASEAN region.

So , we’ve invited them to Botak Jones and meet fellow basketball fans on Tuesday 15th Sept at 7pm. We’re also giving 10% for all those that come down for this Meet & Greet. Just click on the picture and print it out. Show it to the cashier and you get a 10% off any items. Cool?

We are extending the promotion for the USDA Prime Black Angus Filet Mignons (that’s what the French and fancy restaurants call it) at $36.90 which is a steal (no basketball pun intended).

Being PRIME means it is very well marbled and after grilling, you can actually cut it with your fork*!

Remember, not all PRIME is USDA certified PRIME. And even more rare, Certified Black Angus

So, hop on down to Botak Jones and enjoy some networking with 14 top Basketball pros over some great dinner. They’ll love the suppport for their upcoming effort in the Asian Basketball League.

Think’s he’s the boss,

Bernie
