We really have to thank those of you who visited Tampines during the last 6 months. But life goes on, we still have 10 outlets to choose from and we have many good things lined up…all to be announced over the next week.

As you know, we’re supporting the Slingers and they’re off to a flying start. Having won their first 2 home matches, this makes them the team to beat for this inaugural season of the ABL. What’s more, the Slingers also pulled a double over the Brunei Barracudas by pipping them in their match on 25 Oct in Brunei (Barracudeas 80 - Slingers 82), having also beaten them conclusively in the Season Opener at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. If you have a one-off ticket stub for the Patriots Game, just present it at any outlet for a 5% discount off your bill (we’ll take it off your hands upon redeption by the way) and if you have one of them Season Tickets, you get a 10% discount all season long.
Now isn’t that sweet? This means the Slingers sit pretty atop the league table with 3 wins on the trot.
If you want a bigger discount off their next home game, the Slingers have to win big so go on down and support them when they play their next home game on 1 Nov, 5 pm against Satra Muda BritAma at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. On 18 Oct, the Thailand Tigers lost to Satra Muda in Thailand – 75 to 78 so the stage is set for a dramatic showdown between Slingers and Satra Muda. Tickets are available thru Sistic.
We have some very exciting things to announce for November and December and we’re dyin to shout it out but perhaps we’ll keep you in suspense a few days longer. We really want to tell you now but a little anticipation is a good thing isn’t it? I will give you a few itty-bitty hints… these announcements have to do with our Menu, making things really convenient for our customers in terms of how you pay for your meals and lastly something to do with the Xmas season…. Darn! Have I given too much away?
But our customers are a smart lot so do make some guesses and when you next see this big mouth, it means we’d have spilled the beans then you can decide if your guesses are spot on.

Remember the slingers? Did you see the article in Straits Times last week about how well they did in their first game?
The article also highlighted how we could support very own first professional basketball team better. So, here at BotakJones, we are going to make it interesting for you when you watch the game. You now get rewarded if you buy a ticket to watch a Slingers game and to make it interesting, we’ll reward you according to how the game plays out. The better they do (with more support) , they more you get. In fact, if you are a season ticket holder , we’ll reward you upfront on a base level. It’s our bit to rally support for pro basketball in Singapore.
COMMENCEMENT DATE - Sunday’s match - 18 Oct against the Philippine Patriots.
2. SEASON TICKET HOLDERS - For every point the Slingers win by, we will offer a 1% discount up to 20%. Season ticket holders get 10% off all the time and will be able to get the points advantage if it is higher than the 10% but capped at 20%. So if they win by 17 points, you get 17% discount. If they win by 5 points, you still get 10%. Even if they lose, you get 10%. You win either way. Valid all season long.
3. NORMAL TICKETS - One-off Ticket stub holders holders get percentage off up to 20%. Win by 8 points, you get 8%. Yes, you get discounts only when they win. It’s a fun bonus. Outelts will have all results up on a poster. Each ticket is Valid throughout the season.
